Tonebone SWITCHBONE ABY AMP SELECTOR
RAD-R800 7080 00
* 100% discrete class-A signal path for exceptional audio
*- Exclusive Drag™ control pickup load correction
* Variable power booster with mid control for added cut
* Transformer isolated output to eliminate ground loops

The Radial Switchbone ABY is a high performance ABY switcher that is designed to deliver the natural tone and feel of the instrument without introducing noise, distortion or artifact of any kind.

The design begins with the same 100% discrete class-A buffering circuit as the critically acclaimed Radial JD7 Injector for exceptional audio performance. Each part is hand inserted into a double sided through-hole PCB for optimal signal transfer. To ensure the natural feel of the instrument is maintained, Drag™ control load correction lets you re-introduce the natural relationship between the guitar pickup and the amp that is invariably lost when the guitar signal is buffered. This also allows longer cable runs of upwards to 15 meters (50') without noise.

There are three footswitches on the top panel: The first selects between A or B amps while the second is used to combine amps. To get rid of the pops common to passive switchers, the Switchbone employs photocells that ramp-up the signal for smooth noise-free switching - even when used with high gain amps. To eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops, the Switchbone's second output is equipped with a transformer for 100% isolation. To ensure the two amps play in absolute phase, you simply toggle the easy access 180º polarity reverse switch.

The third footswitch lets you engage the built-in power booster. This is equipped with a variable level control and is augmented with a 3-position mid-boost switch for extra cut when soloing. The boost function can be bypassed and converted to a mute switch for quiet on-stage tuning. A separate tuner out is always on for quick tune-ups and buffered to keep your signal path clean. Smart 'flashing' LEDs let you know which amp was last selected keeping you in total control at all times.

The Switchbone is the most natural sounding ABY amp switcher made today.

LOOPBONE EFFECTS LOOP CONTROLLER
RAD-R800 7078 00
* Two effects-loops plus SlingShot™ remote
* Class-A circuit for highest quality audio
* Drag™ control pickup load correction
* Adjustable power booster for soloing

The Loopbone is a high-performance effects-loop switcher that enables the guitarist to insert, remove and combine pedals via two independent signal chains while eliminating the tone robbing problems associated with other switchers and the induced noise caused by true-bypass alternatives.
The design begins with Radial's award winning 100% discrete class-A buffer circuit for the very best audio fidelity and lowest noise. This is augmented with Drag Control – a load correction circuit that allows the user to reintroduce the natural tone and feel of the guitar as if connected directly to a tube amplifier. To eliminate 'switch-on' noise, the Loopbone employs photocells that ramp-up and ramp-down the signal for smooth, pop-free performance, even when used with high-gain amplifiers.
Using the Loopbone is easy: plug in your pedals and switch on the loops. The two effects loops are wired in series to enable the first loop to be fed into the second. This enables the guitarist to combine effects to create complex signal paths or take noisy pedals out of the primary signal chain when not in use. For added control, the Loopbone is equipped with Slingshot™, a remote control that can be used to simultaneously change channels on a guitar amp, turn on an effect, or activate another Slingshot equipped pedal like the Radial Headbone. Just imagine... one foot stomp and suddenly, your chorus, delay and overdrive are activated while your amp changes channel! Extras include a built-in power booster with 'set & forget' level control for soloing, plus a separately buffered tuner out for 'on-the-fly' adjustments.

Tonebone BIGSHOT PB1
RAD-R800 7220 00
* Fully variable class-A power booster for solos
* Buffer drives multiple pedals and long cables
* Drag™ control load correction for natural tone
* Ultra linear performance for natural boost

The Radial BigShot PB1 is a combination signal buffer and power booster designed to provide exceptional sonic performance in a compact yet easy to use pedal.
Unlike most buffers that employ integrated circuit chips (ICs) that color the tone and give buffers a bad name, the BigShot PB1 employs the same 100% discrete class-A circuitry that is used in the award winning Radial JD7 Injector and employed by many of the world's most discerning guitarists including Carlos Santana, John Petrucci, Steve Vai, Neil Schon and John Mayer. The JD7's discrete class-A circuit is preferred over off-the-shelf class-B chips due to reduced zero-cross distortion, improved phase response and the resulting smooth Bessel curve that delivers beautifully cascading even-order harmonics and natural warmth. This is augmented with Drag™ Control load correction that lets you adjust the impedance on your pickups and dial-in the tone and feel as if connected directly to your amp.
Upon first view, you will notice that the PB1's top panel is clear of all controls. These have been moved out of the way and recessed on the rear panel so that they can be set and then forgotten. This 'smart solution' makes it impossible to accidentally kick the controls when on a dark stage. You merely use a guitar pick to adjust the Drag™ and then set the boost level for up to +15dB of pure joy. The PB1 is equally effective as a buffer for your effects or for pounding your 20 watt Super Champ into sublime overload. Once in your pedal chain, the PB1 will enable long cable runs of up to 15 meters (50') while reducing susceptibility to noise and interference.
The PB1 may only have a footswitch and status LED on the top – but it delivers more feel and soul than any other power booster in its class. The BigShot PB1 is likely the finest power booster ever made.

PZ-SELECT TWO CHANNEL INSTRUMENT SWITCHER
RAD-R800 7208 00
* Switch between piezo and magnetic pickups instantly
* Separate outputs for stage amps and PA system
* Drag control load correction for natural electric tone
* Perfect switcher for those that use electric & acoustic on stage

The Radial PZ-Select is a feature-packed signal switcher designed to work with today's new breed of hybrid electric guitars and basses that employ both magnetic and piezo pickups. It is also perfectly suited for players that need to switch between electric and acoustic instruments and send separate signals to the on-stage amps and PA system.
The design begins with two separate channels: The first is dedicated for electric guitar - the second is optimized for acoustic. Two easy access footswitches allow the artist to effortlessly select between pickups for a seamless performance on stage. The magnetic-electric pickup channel features Radial's award winning class-A buffer for absolute signal integrity. This is augmented with Drag Control (TM) load correction to counter the effect of the buffer for a more natural tone. The piezo-acoustic channel features an ultra-high 10meg-Ohm impedance that at once broadens the frequency response while smoothing out the peaks and edginess that often plagues these transducers. A built-in 3-position high-pass (low cut) filter helps eliminate excessive bottom end which could cause the sound to be muddy and indistinct. When used with an acoustic instrument, the filter works with the 180 deg polarity reverse to help eliminate resonant feedback. A low-pass (high-cut) filter has been included to help warm the sound of active piezo systems that can often sound harsh.
There are two outputs to choose from: A standard ¼" output to feed a stage amp and a built-in Radial DI box to deliver the piezo-acoustic tone direct to the PA system via a low-Z balanced XLR out. A dedicated effects loop on the piezo channel lets you connect a series of pedals to feed both outputs. Selecting channels is simply a matter of depressing the associated footswitch. Bright full-sized LEDs provide visual clarity under stage lights to show the selected channel. Even when off, the signal from both pickups are combined and sent to the dedicated tuner out for quiet on stage adjustments.
The PZ-Select... a powerful switcher that lets you seamlessly select pickups and instruments using the power of your feet!

Twin Line Effects loop interface for two amps.
RAD-R800 1430 00
* Shares your pedalboard between two amp loops
* Lets you optimise the signal path for each amp
* Works with pedals or balanced studio processors
* Can be remotely controlled using a footswitch

The Radial Twinline™ is a unique device that enables a guitarist to share effects pedals between two amps when using the amplifier's built-in (rear-panel) effects loops.
Consider the problem: Many guitarists prefer to use the effects loop in the amplifier to insert pedals into their signal chain. This is particularly useful with delay pedals where applying echo to the signal after the guitar amp's preamp distortion as this results in more distinctive notes and more pleasing sonic results. A problem arises when using two amps on stage: how do you toggle the pedalboard between the two amps? The guitar player must either duplicate his pedal setup (one for each amp) or completely change his setup by connecting the pedals to an AB switcher and then connect the pedals to the front panel inputs of the amps.
The Twinline can be thought of as a pedalboard switcher that lets you remotely toggle the effects from one amp's effects loop to the other, thus allowing the guitarist to share his pedalboard between the two amps. To accomplish this, the Twinline is equipped with two amplifier effects loop circuits – each with separate send and receive levels to optimize the signal path for each amp's effects loop. There is also a third effects loop for the pedalboard. This features a choice of unbalanced ¼" connectors for typical guitar pedals or balanced XLR connections for studio effects. A remote control input is used to toggle the active amplifier's effects loop via a contact closure using a MIDI system or latching footswitch. When used with the optional Radial JR2™ remote, this adds the ability to bypass the effects completely.
As with all Radial products, the Twinline is made from heavy duty 14 gauge steel for ultimate durability and maximum shielding against stray magnetic fields while the book-end design creates a protective zone around the controls and switches. Inside, 100% discrete class-A electronics deliver optimal sonics as it buffers the circuit while transformer isolation eliminates troublesome ground loops that can introduce hum and buzz if left unchecked.
The Radial Twinline brings forth a unique solution to a long standing problem.
