LX2 Passive balanced line level splitter&attenuator, 1 in 2 out
RAD-R800 1033 00

Passive Line-Level Splitter & Attenuator
The LX-2™ is a passive balanced line-level audio splitter that allows you to easily send an audio signal to two different destinations at once without noise, while also providing the ability to attenuate the signal when needed.

The LX-2 performs the dual functions of splitting a line level audio signal and providing level attenuation where necessary. A premium Jensen transformer inside provides exceptional frequency response and phase coherency to ensure that the highest audio quality is maintained, while isolating the two outputs from each other to eliminate hum and buzz from ground loops. For situations where a level adjustment is required, the trim control on the LX-2 allows you to attenuate overly hot signals. This gives you the ability to drive your mic preamps hard to achieve coloration, while trimming the level at the LX-2 to avoid clipping the inputs of your recording interface. This trim control is activated by a recessed ‘set & forget’ switch; if attenuation is not needed, simply disengage this switch to prevent accidental and unwanted level adjustments.

Passive Line-Level Splitter
The Radial LX-3™ is a high-performance balanced line-level splitter designed to send one audio signal to as many as three destinations at once.

Pristine audio splitting
The LX-3 makes use of a premium Jensen transformer to leverage the industry's best combination of frequency response, signal level handling, and low distortion, providing the highest possible signal quality. It features two isolated outputs to eliminate hum and buzz from ground loops, along with a third direct output. All three XLR outputs have ground lift switches for additional noise suppression, and a switchable -12dB input pad allows you to connect even the hottest line outputs without fear of overloading or distortion. The input of the LX-3 is accessed with an XLR/TRS combo jack, which allows you to connect via balanced or unbalanced cables; the LX-3 will automatically balance the signal at the isolated outputs, preventing interference and signal degradation over long cable runs.

* Ultra rugged 14-gauge steel construction for added durability

The Radial JS2 and JS3 are high performance balanced mic level splitters that let you split a signal and feed multiple destinations at the same time. Typical applications include splitting a signal in the studio to feed more than one preamp, feeding a stage mic to more than one mixing console, or even splitting the signal to a live PA during a broadcast event.

Two units are offered: The JS2 is equipped with one isolated output while the JS3 has two. The engine inside both units is a premium Jensen transformer. It features a nickel laminated core for exceptionally low harmonic distortion without the usual phase shift and limited bandwidth typically introduced by lesser designs. The JS2 and JS3 deliver better than 90dB of noise rejection, eliminating troublesome noise caused by stray DC voltage and hum & buzz caused by ground loops. The signal path is 100% discrete and incorporates RF filtering for even greater noise suppression. These 'problem-solvers' offer a simple yet highly effective interface for microphones or direct boxes, and by engaging the built-in -30dB pad, consumer and line level devices may also be connected without distortion or fear of overload due to saturation.

As with all Radial products, both mic splitters feature rugged 14-gauge steel construction for maximum durability. A unique book-end design creates a protective zone for switches and connectors against the harsh environment of concert touring while the internal I-beam frame makes it virtually impossible to torque the PC board which could otherwise compromise the sensitive solder joints. The innovative design also has the unique advantage of allowing up to 8 units to be rack-mounted using the Radial J-Rak.

RAD-R800 8010 00
* Modular press box with up to 448 outputs
* Completely analog, no digital trickery!
* Active drive with transformer isolation to eliminate noise
* Can play background music when on standby

The Radial mPress is a modular press box that can be expanded as needed to feed a community-sized press gallery or distribute audio for an international event.
The design begins with the mPress, a master head distribution amplifier that is equipped with two microphone inputs, 48V phantom power for condenser microphones and a built-in limiter to prevent overload from overly rambunctious orators.

Eight balanced mic outputs may be used to supply feeds to a small press gathering. For larger system requirements, a series of modular Exo-Pods may be deployed. These external modules are connected using standard mic cables and feature ten balanced mic outputs and four mini 3.5mm TRS connections to feed portable recorders or hand-held video cameras. In order to eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops, stray DC currents and less than ideal powering systems, all outputs are transformer isolated.

The mPress’s modular approach replaces the spaghetti of cables that usually hampers setups with an orderly system than enables one to create zones for various groups. From each of the mPress XLR outputs as many as four Exo-Pods may be chained together, for a total of 320 microphone and 128 recorder outputs. A built-in 1kHz test tone provides everyone with a reference level and the built-in headphone amplifier helps when trouble shooting. To simplify setups, a main stereo output is available to feed a pair of powered speakers and broadcast the event to an audience. Separate audio inputs also enable the mPress to play background music while waiting for the guest speaker to appear.
The mPress… a modular press box designed to grow to suit your needs.
