VOCO-LOCO Effects Switcher for Voice or Instrument
RAD-R800 1425 00
* Add guitar effects pedals to vocals or instruments
* Create exciting and unique effects as you perform
* Turn on multiple effects using one footswitch
* Works with either dynamic or condenser microphones

The Voco-Loco is a foot-controlled effects loop that enables the lead vocalist, sax or trumpet player to incorporate guitar effects pedals into the signal path, just like an electric guitarist adds effects for soloing.

The design begins with a state-of-the-art mic preamp that is designed to accept both a standard dynamic microphone or a condenser by activating the built-in phantom power supply. A great sounding two band EQ with low and high frequency shelving makes it easy to add warmth and shimmer. The signal is then sent to the guitar pedals via a transformer isolated hi-Z effects loop circuit that is equipped with individual send & receive controls to optimize signal-to-noise and reduce distortion. A tone control on the return path lets you smooth the sound of pedals that may be overly bright and the blend control lets you mix the original 'dry' signal with the 'wet' effect to set the perfect mix.

Simply plug your mic into the Voco-Loco via the XLR input, connect your effects pedals using standard ¼" guitar cables, and then send the output from the Voco-Loco to the input on your mixer. Before the song begins, choose which effects you want on and - when you are ready - activate the loop using the right hand footswitch. A second footswitch serves double-duty as either a mute switch to turn off the mic between sets or as a 100% wet effects loop for special situations where you may not want any of the clean signal to pass through.

With the Voco-Loco in your signal chain, you can add delay or reverb, maybe a touch of distortion or even a special effect like a wah-wah to enhance your solo performance. The options are only limited by your imagination and desire to stand out from the crowd!

X-AMP Active Re-Amplifier
RAD-R800 1028 00
* Active Reamp® with two outputs
* 100% discrete class-A signal path
* Transformer isolated to eliminate noise
* Variable 'set & forget' level control

The Radial X-Amp is an active Reamper™ that allows the engineer to play a pre-recorded track back through guitar amplifiers and pedals. This opens the door to explore new musical sounds and spur on the creative process so that your recording stands out.
Using the X-Amp is easy: start by recording a dry track using a high quality direct box like the Radial J48. Send the new track from your recorder via the X-Amp to your guitar amps, effect pedals or combinations thereof. Once the basic track has been recorded, replacing or adding tracks can be done well after the session player has gone home. This eliminates tiresome repetition and assures a fresh vibrant performance on the final recording. Furthermore, by driving two amps at the same time, new sounds and textures can be created while allowing you to make artistic decisions as the recording progresses.
Following the critically acclaimed Radial JD7 Injector, the X-Amp employs a unique class-A circuit design that has been optimized for use with guitars. Features include balanced line level input with LED peak indicator and level control, class-A circuit topology for optimal reach and frequency response, a transformer isolated output to eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops, a 180º polarity reverse switch to bring both amps into phase, and a dual ground lift switch for noise-free operation.
As with all Radial products, the X-Amp is built like a tank to provide years of trouble-free performance. An internal I-beam skeleton provides maximum protection against external stress which could cause solder points to fail. This is supplemented with an innovative bookend design that creates a protective zone around the switches, potentiometer and connectors. A full bottom no-slip pad performs double duty by keeping the X-Amp from sliding around when placed on a vibrating amplifier while also providing electrical and mechanical isolation. Reamping works equally well on bass, keyboards, drums and voice. Once you start Reamping, you will never record any other way.
The Radial X-Amp… the active Reamp® for professional recording engineers.

"In today's studio sessions, you need to be able to great sounds quickly. From tracking to overdubs to mixing, the Radial X-Amp is used at every step along the way. I know I can count on Radial for great sound and reliability."

RAD-R800 1030 00
* Lets you re-record tracks through a guitar or bass amp
* Original Reamp circuit designed by John Cuniberti
* Plug and play easy to use passive design
* Improves productivity while expanding creative options

The Reamp® JCR™ is a passive Reamper™ that allows you to take a prerecorded track and send it back to a guitar or bass amplifier and re-record it. The benefits are tremendous: instead of worrying about the sound of the track, you can focus your attention on getting the best musical performance. Once the magic has been captured, you can send the guitarist home and Reamp the track at will as you move the mics around the room, try various amplifiers or introduce effects. Best of all, you can Reamp the track later as the production develops.
The Radial Reamp JCR is the latest version of the original Reamp that was designed and patented by John Cuniberti. It features a 100% passive design with John's original custom wound 'Made in the USA' transformer and circuit. The latest Radial version features separate XLR and ¼" TRS input connectors, variable output level plus a three-position filter that lets you tame excessive highs, warm up the lows or simply bypass if you want to revert to the original circuit. An on-board mute function has also been added to allow you to shut off the signal going to the amps when making adjustments or moving mics around the studio.
With today's unlimited track capabilities, Reamping is now accessible to everyone. And Reamping is no longer just for guitars… It is now common to Reamp bass, keyboards, drums, violin… you name it. In fact, Reamping is the magic ingredient that has brought many of the most esteemed recordings to life.
Radial is proud to continue the Reamp tradition with the new JCR.

"The Reamp is the recording guitar player's best friend. It works great with bass and keys too. It lets you take a recorded DI performance and have the amp receive it - exactly as it would if you were plugging in your guitar."

PRORMP Passive Reamper
RAD-R800 1125 00
* Play pre-recorded tracks through amps and pedals
* On board level control for fine tuning amp level
* Transformer isolated to eliminate buzz and hum
* Opens the door to creative new tones and textures

For years, Reamping has been the 'secret weapon' for countless recordings by the biggest names in the business! Few realize that recording engineers not only Reamp guitars, but often Reamp bass, keyboards, drums and even voice as a means to bring creative new tones and sonic signatures to their music.
Reamping has many benefits. You start by recording a clean track and concentrate on capturing the best musical performance. Once the magic has been captured, send the clean track back to the amps and effects and adjust the sound to suit. No more hours of repetition for the guitarist, no more rushed jobs due to scheduling, and best of all, you do not have to commit to the sound of the track. You can modify the tone as the recording progresses while using real amps, effects and natural ambiance for the most organic tone.
The Radial ProRMP is a 100% passive Reamper. This means it does not require any external powering. The magic behind the ProRMP's great tone is a custom wound transformer that at once converts the balanced line level source to a hi-z output for your amp while also acting as an electrical isolator to eliminate troublesome ground loops that can often cause buzz and hum in the sound. Plug and play easy to use, the ProRMP connects from the recorder to your amp and effects units and does all the impedance matching for you. Just adjust the level to suit!
Like all Radial products, the ProRMP is built tough! Encased in 14 gauge steel, the ProRMP employs a unique book-end™ design with a tough I-beam frame that protects it from damage and assures the PC board and solder points will not be stressed. A full-bottom no-slip pad works double duty by providing plenty of stay put while also eliminating electrical contact points from guitar amp chassis bolts that could cause ground loops.

X-AMP 500 - Reamper
RAD-R700 0130 00
* Active Reamp® designed for 500 series racks
* 100% discrete class-A electronics for best tone
* Transformer isolated to eliminate hum and buzz
* Easy access front panel jacks & controls

The Radial X-Amp™ is a 500 series module that lets you take a pre-recorded guitar track and send it back to amplifiers and effects so that you can tailor the sound to suit. The advantages of Reamping™ are many: when recording, the guitarist need only concentrate on the performance. Working out specific sounds and optimal mic placement can be done later. This eliminates hours of tiresome repetition while allowing the producer to adjust the character of the track as the production evolves.
Using the X-Amp is 'plug and play' easy to use. The design begins with an XLR balanced line level input located on the 500 series rear panel that feeds the X-Amp. To ensure the very highest fidelity, 100% discrete class-A circuitry is employed. The X-Amp unbalances and buffers the pre-recorded signal where it then feeds two transformer isolated hi-Z guitar level outputs. The ¼" jacks are front mounted for desk-top convenience and equipped with ground lifts to help eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops. Independent level controls enable you to adjust the drive going to each amp for optimal tone. Should one of the amps be out of phase, depressing the 180º quickly brings both in line.
The X-Amp Reamper™ works with guitars, basses, keyboards and even voice! You can send the signal through guitar effects pedals too. In fact the only thing holding you back is your imagination.

JX-44 Guitar Signal Manager
RAD-R800 6500 00
* Control as many as 4 guitars and 6 amps at once
* Programmable with remote control for pedalboard
* Built in Radial DI box, SGI line driver and X-Amp
* Transformer isolated to eliminate ground loops

The Radial JX44 Air Control is a guitar signal manager designed for the most demanding professional concert stages where wireless guitar systems, acoustics, effects and multiple amplifiers are used simultaneously.
To ensure the highest quality signal transfer, the four instrument inputs employ Radial's unique class-A buffering with 100% discrete components throughout. Inputs A & B are equipped with Drag™ Control load correction that lets you 'dial in' the perfect load on the pickup for the most natural tone. Inputs B &C are equipped with a trim level that let you quickly balance signal levels when using wireless systems or active guitars.
There are two effects loops: The first is a 'local' effects loop to interface drawer-filled pedals or multi-effects processors. The second is a long-haul balanced interface that provides a noise-free connection to-and-from distant pedalboards to distances of 100 meters when combined with a stand-alone Radial SGI-44. A built-in Radial direct box works double duty as an acoustic guitar output for the PA or as a dry feed for recording. With the JX44, you can record a 'clean guitar track' and use the built-in Radial X-Amp in post production to Reamp the signal to multiple amplifiers and pedals at the same time.
Up to six guitar amplifiers may be used at once. Outputs 1 and 2 are single while outputs 3 and 4 are doubled-up to drive multiple stacks. All outputs are transformer isolated to eliminate hum and buzz from ground loops. These also feature a 180º polarity reverse switch to set the amps in phase. Selecting the amps can be done via the front panel or by using the optional JR5 remote control. This five function footswitch is equipped with internal memory that lets you store 4 amp scenes and recall them with a single foot action. A second JR5 can also be used to activate or mute guitars. To enhance stage functionality, the JX44 is equipped with a separate tuner out. Signals can be muted using the front panel switch, a latching footswitch, or with the JR5 remote, giving you complete control right where you want it. Should ever a problem occur, a front panel 'panic' button hardwires input-A to output-1 for direct-to-amp connection. This will even work if the JX44 power goes down. With a Radial JX44 in your rig, the show will go on!

SGI44 Studio Guitar Interface
RAD-R800 6700 00
* Bidirectional long-distance 'send & receive' effects router
* Drive guitar & bass signals beyond 100 meters
* 100% discrete class-A circuitry
* Works with the Radial JX44 guitar & amp selector

The Radial SGI-44 is a studio quality bidirectional effects router that designed to take the output from a wireless receiver and run the guitar signal to the pedalboard and back. Two SGI-44s are used with one positioned at the wireless end, the other at the pedalboard. Connection is made using standard XLR cables.
The first SGI-44 converts the unbalanced high-impedance guitar signal to a balanced low-impedance signal and the second reverses the process - thus allowing distances of more than 100 meters (300') without noise. To ensure optimal signal quality, the SGI-44 employs 100% hand-inserted discrete parts with Jensen isolation transformers to make up the class-A circuit. Although less efficient than the chip based AB circuits that are common with today’s ‘cost driven’ designs, single ended class-A circuits are preferred by audiophiles due to the lack of zero-cross distortion. These  deliver greater transparency and realism. To further improve the feel, the SGI-44 is equipped with Drag Control load correction. This allows you to 'dial in' the perfect load as if connected to a tube guitar amp using a standard guitar cable. To add versatility, the SGI-44 is equipped with a buffered tuner out for quick between song adjustments or can be used to split the guitar signal to a second signal chain if need be.
Built 'Radial tough' the SGI-44 is made in Canada using 14 gauge steel. An innovative I-beam internal frame protects the sensitive circuit board from outside stress which could torque the solder points and cause premature failure. Radial's innovative book-end construction creates recessed zones at each end that protect connectors, switches and controls from harm's way.
The Radial SGI-44 makes it easy to route guitar signals around a stage, in the studio or in a large venue while delivering the very best signal quality.
